Dag 11 expeditie: We zijn vanuit Raudsilla vertrokken. We zijn toch wel een beetje suf van het feestje en de vrij korte nacht. Bij het eerste tankstation stoppen we voor koffie en warme broodjes.
De omgeving verandert weinig; sneeuw en vieze, modderige wegen.
Estland en Letland zijn niet onze favoriete landen, en zeker niet in deze tijd van het jaar. Het is hier grijs en grauw.
We stoppen halverwege om een verlaten gevangenis / werkkamp te bezoeken en rijden een stukje off-road om de spanning erin te houden.
Na het kamperen in onze Land Rover vonden we dat we een wat luxer hotel verdiend hadden. We vonden in Ādaži -net voor Riga- een mooi hotel met Jacuzzi. Tijd dus voor eten en relaxen in zwembad.
We waren er alle 4 van uit gegaan dat er beneden in het hotel (bij het zwembad) handdoeken aanwezig waren.. Niet dus!
