Het reisdoel is Sint Petersburg. Sint Petersburg is na Moskou de belangrijkste stad en tevens de voormalige hoofdstad van Rusland. De stad telt maar liefts 5.1 miljoen inwoners. In 1924 kreeg Petrograd (Sint Petersburg) de naam Leningrad. In 1993 kreeg de stand zijn originele naam terug.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tot zover de historie over deze spraakmakende Russische stad.<\/p>\n<p>Onze indruk van dit Russische deel zijn de extremen: het grote verschil tussen heel oud en heel nieuw. Heel rijk of heel arm. Van hele oude Lada&#8217;s tot peperdure Mercedes AMG&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>Aangekomen in Sint Petersburg was de opdracht: &#8220;zoek een beachclub in St Petersburg en geef daar de geheime code door&#8221;.<br \/>\nNa 1,5 uur kris kras door de stad te hebben gezworven vonden we de beach club. Hier hebben we een een bewijs ontvangen (een sticker in het roadbook). Er komen steeds meer andere teams binnen en al snel is het een gezellige boel.<\/p>\n<p>Na de gezelligheid in de beach club gaan we op zoek naar eten.<br \/>\nWe belanden in een mooi luxe hotel. We besluiten hier te nacht door te brengen.<\/p>\n<p>Sightseeing wordt vanwege de gure kou beperkt tot 1 straat.<br \/>\nWe belanden in de bar van ons hotel en gaan ,volgens Russische normen, na een biertje en een wodka naar bed.<\/p>\n<p>Km\u2019s: 151<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dag 10 expeditie: \u00a0Vandaag vertrekken we uit\u00a0Vyborg.
